A review of Pittsburgh House by Brenda grimes written on Sunday 15th of August 2010
I attended Pittsburgh house at the age of 12 as it was at one time it was a boarding school which there was loads of us the matron was Mary Simpson Mrs Arnold Mrs shuttle worth plus a lady from Yorkshire for got her name the matron got married to a Mr Howell when i was there there was bedrooms called blue room yellow green rooms plus the attic matron al ways had Fridays of from work we used to wash our socks every night from school hair washed every Wednesday night there was a Mr Mrs Robinson at the bottom of the drive who lived in a bungalow with there son peter I attended sandon Rd schools in mire the grounds of Pittsburgh was really massive I can remember every room in the house i am now 58 yrs now i been looking for information plus photos but with no luck.
